This is exactly what I want this winter day in the Polish mountains to be about.
On February 6, 2027, I invite you to join me in Zakopane for a very special Winter Photography Experience – a day created for photographers who want to photograph, be inspired and spend time with people who share the same passion.
A winter photography experience in the Polish mountains
This is not a traditional workshop filled with hours of theory.
We are meeting primarily to photograph, create and enjoy the experience together.
We will start our morning near Zakopane with hot coffee and tea, time to meet each other and a shared lunch before heading outside.
Then we will spend the afternoon photographing a series of beautiful winter scenes prepared especially for our group.
Imagine children wrapped in warm blankets, wooden sledges, snow-covered trees, smoke rising from a fire and the soft winter light reflecting from the snow.
The models, styling, locations and scenes will be prepared for you, so instead of organizing a session yourself, you can simply arrive with your camera and concentrate on what you love most – creating photographs.
Throughout the afternoon we will move between different scenes and situations, giving you plenty of opportunities to create a varied winter portfolio.
There will also be a traditional horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy landscape, followed by a bonfire as the winter afternoon turns into evening.

Who is this experience for?
This event is for photographers who already feel comfortable using their camera independently.
You do not need to be a professional photographer. Passionate hobby photographers are absolutely welcome.
However, this is not a beginner photography course. We will not spend the day learning camera settings or covering photography basics. The idea is to give you as much time as possible to photograph, experiment, observe and create.
And of course, I will be there with you throughout the day – photographing, talking about what we see and sharing my experience whenever it is helpful.
More than photographs
For me, this day is about much more than coming home with beautiful images.
It is about spending a winter day in the mountains doing something you genuinely love.
Meeting people from different places who share your passion.
Talking about photography over a hot drink, creating together in the snow, laughing around the fire and perhaps leaving Zakopane with new friendships as well as new photographs.
After the photography part of the day, everyone who would like to stay a little longer will be welcome to join us for an optional dinner at a restaurant in Zakopane.
Dinner and accommodation are not included in the event price.
Places will be very limited to keep the experience personal and comfortable for everyone.

Price & reservation
The price of the Winter Photography Experience is €500 + VAT where applicable.
Your place is reserved with a €150 deposit paid at the time of booking. The remaining €350 is payable in cash on the day of the event.
I know that booking a winter event several months in advance can feel like a commitment, so I want to give you some flexibility if your plans change:
• cancellation by October 31, 2026 – 100% of the reservation deposit will be refunded,
• cancellation between November 1 and November 30, 2026 – 50% of the reservation deposit will be refunded,
• cancellation from December 1, 2026 – the reservation deposit is non-refundable.
Bookings close on January 15, 2027, or earlier if all available places are reserved.
If the event is cancelled by the organizer, all payments made will be refunded in full.
VAT & invoices
The prices shown above are exclusive of VAT.
For businesses requesting an invoice:
• businesses with a valid EU VAT number registered for intra-EU transactions – 0% VAT,
• businesses without a valid EU VAT number – 23% VAT.
If you are booking as a private individual, please contact me before booking so I can confirm the VAT applicable to your purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get to Zakopane from abroad?
Please don’t worry if you have never travelled to this part of Poland before. I am happy to help international participants plan their journey, and once our group is formed, we can coordinate travel and accommodation together.
For most international participants, the easiest option is to fly to Kraków Airport (KRK).
From Kraków, you have several ways to reach Zakopane:
By train
You can take the airport train from Kraków Airport to Kraków Główny (Kraków Main Station). The journey from the airport to the city centre takes approximately 20 minutes. From Kraków Główny you can continue to Zakopane by train.
I particularly recommend checking the train option when planning your trip – travelling through the mountains by train can be a comfortable and easy way to reach Zakopane without renting a car.
By direct bus from Kraków Airport
There are also direct FlixBus connections from Kraków Airport to Zakopane, so depending on your flight arrival time, you may be able to travel directly from the airport without going into Kraków first.
The direct journey currently takes from approximately 2 hours 40 minutes, depending on the connection and traffic.

By rental car
Of course, you can also rent a car at Kraków Airport and drive to Zakopane. This gives you the most flexibility, particularly if you would like to explore the Tatra Mountains before or after the workshop.
If several participants arrive at similar times, we can also use our group chat to see whether anyone would like to share a rental car and travel to Zakopane together.
Which airport should I choose?
My first recommendation is Kraków Airport (KRK).
It is the most practical major airport for reaching Zakopane and gives you several onward travel options: train, direct coach or rental car.
If you find a particularly convenient or inexpensive flight to another Polish airport, feel free to contact me before booking. I am happy to help you check the best connection to Zakopane.
What happens when I arrive in Zakopane?
Once you reach Zakopane, things become much easier.
The railway and bus stations are close to each other, and I will help you work out how to get from the station to your accommodation.
If I am available when you arrive, I will be happy to pick you up myself. If that is not possible, there are local taxis and ride services available in Zakopane, including Uber.
So please don’t feel that you need to figure out every part of the journey alone. Once I know when everyone is arriving, I will help coordinate the practical details.
Can participants coordinate their travel?
Absolutely – and I would actually love to do this.
Once we have our group, I can create a private group chat for the workshop participants.
You will be able to introduce yourselves before the workshop, compare arrival times and, if convenient, arrange to travel together from Kraków or share a rental car.
It also means that if several people are arriving at similar times, we can coordinate the final part of the journey together.
Where should I stay in Zakopane?
Accommodation is not included in the workshop price, but I am happy to help the group organize it.
Once we know who is joining us, we can use our workshop chat to discuss accommodation. If several participants would like to stay together, we can look at the possibility of renting a larger apartment or a traditional mountain house/chalet together.
Of course, you are equally welcome to book your own hotel or apartment if you prefer more privacy.
My goal is to make the whole experience easy – not only the photography itself, but also getting here, meeting the group and enjoying your time in Zakopane.
I am travelling alone. Should I be worried about organizing the trip?
Not at all.
Many people come to my international workshops on their own, and you will already have a group of people waiting for you in Zakopane who share the same passion.
If you are unsure which flight, train or bus to choose, simply contact me before booking your journey. I know the area and I am happy to help you work out a sensible route.
Once the participant group is complete, we can coordinate arrivals, accommodation and local transport together.
You don’t need to organize the entire trip alone.
