„Every photo tells a story of moments that will never happen again.”
I took up photography when my children were little, driven by a desire to preserve the fleeting moments of their growing lives. But as I looked through the lens, I found myself reconnecting with the wonder and playfulness of my own childhood. Photography became not just a way to document their world, but a way to express how I see childhood—through the eyes of both a mother and the child I once was.
I’m Iwona Podlasinska – a mother of two boys, a wife, an architect by profession, and a photographer by choice. My passion for children’s photography began in 2014 when I first picked up a camera to capture the beauty of everyday moments with my own children.
“Photography allows me to combine my love for childhood with the pursuit of perfection.”
I started by sharing my photos online, where they quickly gained recognition in the field of children’s and portrait photography. My dream was to share this passion with others who, like me, love photography and children.
Before long, I began conducting photography workshops, both in Poland and internationally. Today, I am the author of a book about children’s photography, available as an e-book, which has sold thousands of copies worldwide.

“Teaching others gives me the opportunity to share my experience and inspire them to discover their own paths in photography.”
I create courses and tutorials for photographers and offer tools to support their growth, such as overlays and presets. My work allows me to travel around the world, meeting photographers from Europe, the United States, Canada, China, South America, and Japan.

“The most important thing in children’s photography isn’t technique but the ability to capture their emotions, dreams, and magical moments in the frame.”
Children’s photography is more than just work for me – it’s a way to preserve fleeting moments full of emotions, joy, and magic.
Every photo is a unique story, and every story is an opportunity to inspire, move, and bring back cherished memories.
